I have long been searching for a great micro brew at a macro brew price. So when I discovered Trader Joes variety of six packs priced at $5.99 I was ecstatic. Had I finally discovered a great cheap beer? The answer is a resounding no.
I’m not sure why lagers don’t appeal to me like ales, but they just don’t. Even a great lager, is worse then a bad ale to me most of the time. This beer is no exception. If I had to sum it up in two words, I would have to go with “piss water.” It is flat, and tastes like Miller Lite’s little brother. I’m not going to go into a lot of detail on this stuff. Don’t waste your time. If you want cheap, flat, flavorless beer, stick to Budweiser products. This beer is just lackluster in everyway. The label wants to brag about all the exotic hops from Europe, but at the end of the day, it is what is inside that counts.
ABV: 5%
Consumed: Pint Glass
Verdict: Skip it!
